Billionaire Elon Musk decided to attend Sunday night’s showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys to cheer on the Steelers, but it’s safe to say the game did not go the way he had hoped.
Elon Musk shared a video of him waving a Pittsburgh Steelers “Terrible Towel” before the game, much to the delight of the fans in the stands.
“Go Steelers!!” he added in his post.

Musk also pointed out that he has a connection to the region after spending three years attending the University of Pennsylvania earlier in his life.
But he certainly was not a good luck charm for the Steelers.
Pittsburgh lost the game by a final score of 20-17 thanks to a last-second touchdown from the Dallas Cowboys, giving the team its second-consecutive loss.
Needless to say, it’s pretty brutal news for Musk that he publicly supported the Steelers only for them to lose in such disappointing fashion. As a result, it sparked a lot of reactions on social media.
“everything you touch loses,” a fan said in a post on X.
“You jinxed them…” another fan said.
“How cool. A dork who knows nothing about football posting for clicks,” Ryan Shead of the Hold the Mic podcast wrote.
“Elon Musk was rooting for the Steelers and that’s all the Cowboys needed to win. Truly America’s team,” another person quipped.
“From Steelers fans across the country, go cheer for someone else Elon,” a Steelers fan said.
“Elon Musk caused the Steelers to lose,” another person added.
Clearly, people were not happy with the billionaire.
