That second part isn’t technically true but the Eagles’ transformation of a subway entrance into a mock tunnel might provide a bit of happiness for fussy Philly fans.
The Chip Kelly era isn’t proceeding like all Eagles folks assumed it would, but, despite a few hideous outings, they’re in the thick of an odd NFC East race and actually appear to be improving. As they wrap up the first half of the season with a trip to Arlington on Sunday night, the team is stirring up some excitement in the form of the mock stadium entrance at a downtown subway entrance.
And it’s actually a cool, unique idea:
