On Sunday night, global pop superstar Taylor Swift will be supporting Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce in his Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. And it sounds like Grammy-winning rapper Drake will be right with her in cheering on the Chiefs.
This week, Drake revealed that he had placed an absolutely massive bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers. A bet slip he shared on Instagram shows that the rapper is staking $1.15 million on Travis Kelce and the Chiefs to ultimately come out on top on Sunday night, and he sent a pretty clear message to Taylor Swift to explain the bet.
“I can’t bet against the Swifties,” Drake said in his caption in the Instagram post.
It’s not usually great advice to go against Swift and her fanbase in anything, especially with everything seeming to go Swift’s way recently as she took home a Grammy Award for Album of the Year, becoming the first person ever to win the award four times.
We’ll have to see whether or not the Chiefs prevail and make Drake’s bank account a little bigger. Either way, he’s going to ride or die with Swift and her fans.
