The New Orleans Saints were the talk of the town after getting out to a 2-0 start behind a high-flying offense.
Things have come back down to earth since, in fact, the Saints season is in flames after crashing into the earth. The Saints have lost seven consecutive games and are now 2-7 on the season. Now there’s brutal news that may show the franchise that it’s time for a long-term switch at quarterback from veteran Derek Carr.
“With his loss to the Carolina Panthers, Derek Carr now becomes the first QB in NFL history to lose to 31 different teams,” reported an NFL-centric account on Twitter on Sunday.

Fans reacted to the brutal stat on social media.
“He really tricked em with that 2-0 start smh,” one person responded on Twitter.
“Saints fans really thought they were contenders after 2 weeks,” one person added.
“The fact that the saints went into this season thinking they would be good with him at QB is hilarious,” one fan added.
“Difficult to achieve because you have to be bad enough to lose that many times but good enough to stick around as long as he has. Mediocrity be thy name,” one fan added.
“Derek Carr keeps setting all the wrong records,” one fan added.
“Saints fans this past summer: “Final piece of the puzzle. Our division sucks! Garbage Raiders completely mismanaged Carr and now he’s going to show why he’s a Top 5 QB in this League!” Saints fans now: “Don’t look at me. I didn’t want him.” one fan added.
“Only way he’s getting into the HOF without paying admission…” one fan added.
Now that’s it clear Carr isn’t a quarterback that accomplishes much other than losing there’s a decent chance his stint in New Orleans is the curtain call for his career.
