The Denver Broncos will have a new starting quarterback this season after parting ways with previous starter Russell Wilson earlier this offseason. And as the team begins its preseason games this, it looks like Jarrett Stidham will be the guy at the top of the depth chart.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Denver Broncos released their first official depth chart of the preseason and it listed Jarrett Stidham at the top of the depth chart followed by former New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson and rookie Bo Nix behind him.
“Broncos are listing Jarrett Stidham as their starting quarterback on the first depth chart of the season. Rookie first-round pick Bo Nix is listed as third string,” NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is just the first depth chart of the preseason and things can certainly change before the team begins the regular season next month. But for now, it sounds like Stidham is leading the way.
Stidham, of course, took over as the starting quarterback at the end of last season after the team benched Wilson. It sounds like he’s now getting a chance to pick up where he left off.
