Monday night’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs was one of the most high-profile NFL games of the season. Ultimately, the Eagles came out on top, defeating the Chiefs by a score of 21-17 to avenge their loss in last season’s Super Bowl. But NFL analyst Dan Olovsky doesn’t think that necessarily makes them the better team.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday following Monday night’s high-profile contest, Dan Orlovsky boldly claimed that despite the loss, he thinks the Chiefs actually proved themselves as the better team in the game.

According to Orlovsky – a former NFL quarterback who now serves as an analyst for ESPN – the Eagles’ win over Kansas City on Monday Night was a result of several uncharacteristic mistakes from the Chiefs, not necessarily because they were the better team.

“I walk away from that game thinking the Chiefs are the better football team than the Eagles. The Chiefs completely outplayed them in so many areas. Except for Pat’s INT, Kelce’s fumble, and five Drops.. Which isn’t gonna happen often.. I bank on them making those in the playoffs,” Orlovsky said on the show, according to Eagles Nation.

If these two teams meet again, it would have to be in the Super Bowl as Kansas City is in the AFC and Philadelphia in the NFC. But with both teams emerging as legitimate championship contenders late in the season, that certainly isn’t out of the question.
