Maybe Washington was onto something when they tried a failed read-option with Colt McCoy during the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Knocking at the Cowboys end zone, McCoy ran what sure looks like a designed rushing play to perfection and trucked his way for a game-leading touchdown. Not bad for a guy who was supposed to be Washington’s back-up’s back-up.
