The New York Jets lost future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a season-ending injury during just his fourth play as a member of the team this week. The brutal turn of events left the Jets exploring options at quarterback. And while we don’t know exactly what the team’s future plans are at the position, we know that they won’t include one particular quarterback: Colin Kaepernick.
Following the injury to Aaron Rodgers, Colin Kaepernick reached out to the New York Jets with interest in joining the team to help remedy the team’s sudden quarterback concerns. However, it does not appear that the Jets are interested in signing Kaepernick, after all.
According to a report from NFL insider Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, the Jets are not interested in bringing in Kaepernick.

Kaepernick has not played in the league since the 2016 season despite numerous efforts to find a new team. Unfortunately for him, that chance will not be coming with the Jets.
