Former NFL star quarterback Colin Kaepernick has accomplished a lot of things throughout his athletic career, even leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance following the 2012 NFL season. And it looks like he can now add another pretty impressive honor to that list.
On Wednesday, Audible announced that “Change the Game,” an audio adaptation of the life of Colin Kaepernick, had been selected as one of Audible’s best of the year for 2023.
Kaepernick Publishing shared the news on Instagram shortly after it was announced.

“Change the Game is an audio adaptation of celebrated athlete and activist Colin Kaepernick’s YA graphic memoir, where he looks back on a pivotal decision he faced as a baseball pitcher during his senior year of high school. Narrated by Colin Kaepernick, this audiobook features a stellar cast including Jaden Michael (Colin in Black and White),” the Amazon description of the audio adaptation reads.
“This touching story explores how a young change-maker learned to find himself and never compromise. How the right decision is rarely the easy one, but taking the road less traveled can make all the difference in the world.”
It’s clear that the story was well received and it is being commended as a result.
