It’s no real secret to anyone who has been paying attention to the NFL the past two seasons that Christian McCaffrey has been dominant ever since he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers during the 2022 season, but the numbers are still absolutely staggering.
As Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk pointed out on Tuesday morning, Christian McCaffrey has been an absolute touchdown machine since joining the San Francisco 49ers last season.
“No player in the NFL has reached the goal line even close to as often as Christian McCaffrey has since Week Seven of the 2022 season, when McCaffrey made his 49ers debut,” Smith wrote for Pro Football Talk.
“The touchdown catch in the Super Bowl was McCaffrey’s 39th touchdown in 33 games with the 49ers, counting the postseason. No other player in the NFL is close to McCaffrey; Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has 27 touchdowns since Week Seven of 2022, which is the second-most of any player in the league during that time.”
This is obviously some pretty insane news for McCaffrey, and the NFL world was buzzing about it on social media.
Very impressive , insane workload this year tho. Not sure he can keep that up

We’ll have to see whether or not McCaffrey can keep up this dominance for the Niners next season.
