The Los Angeles Rams are getting ready to host the Minnesota Vikings in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs after defeating the Seattle Seahawks to secure the fourth seed in the NFC. Unfortunately, it has proven to be a costly victory.

According to one prominent NFL insider, a Rams player suffered a brutal injury on Sunday.

“Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters that rookie RB Blake Corum fractured his forearm,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“That is why you dont play starters. Stinks for corum but could have been Williams,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“That is a rough loss right before the playoffs,” another fan added.

“that’s awful! Don’t hear that injury often. Heal quickly,” added one fan.

“Something to possibly note, but i hate to see the former Wolverine end his season like this,” one fan added.

“man, that sucks. Wishing him a smooth recovery, he will no doubt come back stronger and ready for next season,” wrote someone else.

“Blake Corum – Avg ~7 wks to return. Very likely out for playoffs. Most return at 100%,” one doctor wrote on Twitter.

Hopefully, Corum is ready to go for next season.
