Last season did not go the way Bryce Young or the Carolina Panthers would have hoped after they traded up to select him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft as the team finished with the worst record in the entire league. But it sounds like Young wants to correct things this season.
During a recent press conference, Carolina Panthers general manager Dan Morgan sent a pretty clear message about Bryce Young as he said that he thinks the young quarterback is “on a mission” to be great.
“I think Bryce is one of the hardest working men in that locker room,” Morgan said according to the Carolina Panthers team website. “I know he’s on a mission. I know he’s committed to be great. I know he’s committed to this franchise and making this franchise great. We’re going to do everything in our power to surround him with the best players, the best protection . . . so we’ve got to do our part as well. But I know Bryce is hungry, he’s focused and we’re super excited about him.”
We’ll have to see how Young is able to bounce back this season after a disappointing showing during his rookie season.
