When the only good thing one can say about Brandon Weeden’s day is that at least this interception wasn’t a pick six, you know things have been rough for the Cowboys backup quarterback.
Other ways one can tell that Brandon Weeden is having a really bad day:
1. Tyrann Mathieu gets his first pick of the year against Weeden.
2. The Cowboys only touchdown so far is a pick six by the defense.
3. Weeden’s stats are the stuff of Jason Garrett’s nightmares: 8/17 for 84 yards and one interception.
4. Tyrann Mathieu has more catches from Brandon Weeden than Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams combined (hell, you and I have more catches than Dez Bryant right now).
In other words, Tony Romo matters, y’all.
However, getting the opportunity to write “Brandon Weeden gets intercepted by the Honey Badger” will never get old.
