Blake Bortles was just trying to compliment his offensive coordinator, but he managed to insult fans in the process.
Bortles was discussing how difficult playcalling is in the NFL when he put down fans for criticizing play calls.
“I don’t know, it’s like a kindergartner saying something to a college kid,” Bortles said.
While it probably was an unintentional shot at fans, it’s a solid diss nonetheless. A good comeback here would be comparing Bortles’ quarterback ability (kindergartener) to that of the top QBs in the league.
