Super Bowl champion head coach and famously jovial personality Bill Belichick was on The Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday.
Of course, the subject of #DeflateGate came up.
Letterman, a Colts fan, “grilled” Belichick over the Patriots involvement in the whole mess before flipping the script and trying to get Belichick to accuse the Colts of framing New England.
For his part, Belichick stuck to his theory that the weather caused the deflation of the footballs in the AFC Championship.
The only thing that was unusually noteworthy about the exchange was that Bill Belichick actually laughed heartily during his banter with Letterman. It’s true! We now have proof for the rest of eternity that Bill Belichick can take a joke.
