The season might be over for both the Steelers and Bengals, but the bad blood between them surely isn’t.
Antonio Brown spoke up about the dirty hit Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict laid on him in the AFC Divisional round that left him concussed. Thursday, the Steelers’ star receiver joined “The Cook and Poni Show” on 93.7 The Fan and vented about how guys like Burfict aim to hurt him rather than stop him.
“Guys don’t want to stop me anymore. They want to take me out,” Brown said. “They want to steal my dreams. They want to ruin me. They want to end me, but we’re not gonna let them. What we are gonna do is win more.”
He continued by specifically discussing the Burfict hit, which you can watch here if you need a reminder of just how dirty it was.
“Every guy talks, but when you do something like that, when you hit a defenseless guy in the helmet, a lot of things, not right about that position,” he said.
He didn’t stop there, either. Brown later appeared on “The Dan Patrick Show” and fired another shot at Burfict.

Considering how Burfict is renowned for his history of dirty hits and classless play on the field, it’s tough to disagree with any of what Brown is saying.
