Alvin Kamara showed his support to Colin Kaepernick in a big way after the New Orleans Saints beat the Washington Redskins 43-19 on Monday.
The Saints running back sported a Kaepernick San Francisco 49ers jersey plus a MAGA-parody hat with the phrase “Make Africa Home Again,” on it.

Kamara wasn’t the only active player this week to show love for Kaepernick and fight against racial injustice in the United States, and he won’t be the last. On Sunday, new Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid took a knee during the U.S. National Anthem.
It’s a bit weird to see Kamara sporting a 49ers jersey when the Saints are in the same conference. However, it just proves how much bigger Kaepernick’s stance and actions are than football. Wearing a Kaepernick jersey is a way of standing beside him. The MAHA-hat is just icing on the cake.
It takes big kahunas to wear this outfit in your locker room right after Monday Night Football. But, Kamara’s making a point that’s much bigger than football. It’s cool to see him sport the look to stand up beside Kaepernick.
