Throughout the offseason, New York Jets future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers made quite a few controversial moves as he appeared on multiple far-right podcasts and even flirted with a possible political career when independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. considered him as a running mate. But Rodgers doesn’t sound worried about anybody criticizing him for those moves.
During an appearance on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio with Adam Schein on Thursday, Aaron Rodgers was asked about these controversial moves during the offseason, and he offered a pretty strong response to any of his critics.
“Listen, I think there’s people that have their opinion about me, and that’s fine,” Rodgers said according to Pro Football Talk. “And they’ll use whatever language justification they want to back up whatever narrative they’re going to push about me, and that’s fine. I don’t spend any time worrying about those people’s opinions or what they think about me.”
Obviously, Rodgers has never been too worried about what people might say or think about him, and it doesn’t sound like that’s going to change now. Rodgers quite clearly is not going to change his personality, his beliefs, or his controversial antics.
