Fans might be thrilled that ESPN’s College GameDay is not visiting an SEC school this week, but the network still stirred up plenty of heat with their upcoming visit to Morgantown. ESPN will bring in Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato for an interview with Tom Rinaldi and although he won’t even be on-set, the decision is not sitting well with WVU fans, with some taking serious shots at their in-state kinda rival.
Just remember, this Rakeem Cato interview on Gameday is gonna be more embarrassing for Marshall than anything else. He can’t speak English.

Wow, I thought the thing about thing about Rakeem Cato being a guest picker on Gameday was a joke. Why don’t you bring Pitt’s QB too? — Bad Podcast Fale (@explodeyourself) October 30, 2014
@CollegeGameDay Rakeem Cato is gonna be on Gameday? Why would you guys bring on a QB that has played a high school schedule? #Overrated

Rakeem Cato couldn’t get Gameday to come to Marshall so he begged to come to WVU lol

Espn featuring Rakeem Cato on College Gameday in Morgantown this weekend is just asking for something dumb to happen.

@NickVSmith83 Marshall sucks though and Rakeem Cato has no business being on our College Game Day just to get attention because they suck

Hearing possible Rakeem Cato death threats going to Morgantown for College Gameday appearance. Really. WVU fans/students stoop to new low.

Great 21st Century Ideas: 1. Withdrawing from Iraq 2. McCain nominates Palin 3. Rich Rod to Michigan 4. Inviting Rakeem Cato to Gameday
— Big E (@Chairistotle) October 29, 2014
@CollegeGameDay why does rakeem Cato need to be at gameday? He plays for Marshall. They’re irrelevant. #theterds#whatstheword. Poor choice
