This storming of the court is a bit baffling to me. On Tuesday night, Wake Forest upset #18 ranked North Carolina State 86-84, and madness ensued in the form of a court storming. I am not one to judge, and I know folks just want to have fun, but this seemed a bit too much especially with Wake Forest coming into the game at 10-7. The hoisting up of players on the fans shoulders may have also been a step too far. I love the enthusiasm and enjoy watching folks have fun, but this was just slightly confusing to me.
On the flip-side the win was the program’s first win against a ranked opponent in almost three years, so there is that.
