In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 12th seeded Yale managed to upset 5th seeded Baylor by a score of 79-75 on Thursday.
During his post-game press conference, a reporter oddly decided to ask Baylor’s Taurean Prince how his squad was outrebounded 35-30 in the contest (which doesn’t seem like that large of a margin in a loss). Prince’s answer proved that he wasn’t in the mood to indulge pointless questions when he gave this highly condescending but admittedly very funny answer.
“Well, you go up and grab the ball off the rim when it comes off. And then you grab it with two hands and you come down with it and that’s considered a rebound. So they got more of those than we did.”
If the sarcasm was laid on any thicker, it would topple over the table.
