Every year, the San Diego State baseball team has an intra-squad scrimmage in which players dress up in full Halloween costumes and get some work in on the diamond. The game is clearly a pretty big deal around those parts; not only do players go all-out with their costumes, but lots of students – many in costume themselves – turn up to watch the game as well.
SDSU held the scrimmage on Sunday afternoon at Tony Gwynn Stadium and, in addition to a brand new batch of awesome costumes, this year’s event also included a giant flash mob set to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’ Tons of students joined the team on the field to perform the classic MJ dance routine and it was pretty fantastic.
