No. 8: Missouri
Like Texas A&M, no one expected Mizzou to contend in the SEC this early, if ever, but following a one-year transition period, the Tigers are proving they belong.
It is tough to see losses in the first four: South Dakota State, at Toledo, UCF and Indiana, that is assuming they’re not completely fixated on South Carolina in Week 5…or Georgia on October 11th.
Another season that could yield 9-plus wins for Gary Pinkel and WR Bud Sasser may also turn disastrous if they drop one non conference game (likely UCF) before playing at South Carolina, Florida, A&M and Tennessee. Depending on those outcomes, Vandy, Kentucky and Arkansas at home will be as difficult as they make them.
