Over the past couple of years, LSU Tigers superstar gymnast Olivia Dunne has emerged as one of the most famous and iconic women’s athletes in the entire country. She’s currently in her final season of college gymnastics, but she’s unfortunately missed her past two meets with undisclosed injuries. However, it sounds like there could be a chance she makes her return to the lineup this week.

During a press conference, LSU Tigers head coach Jay Clark confirmed that there is a chance Olivia Dunne could make her return to the lineup this week.

“I’m hoping Amari Drayton can do bars in exhibition,” Clark said according to Nola.com. “Liv (Olivia Dunne) will potentially be in on bars again. It’s too early to tell what the lineup will be. We have three or four kids walking around with the flu. But the beauty of our team is we have flexibility.”

This is obviously major news after fans have expressed concern about her absences the past two weeks, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not Dunne does indeed make her return this week and how she is able to perform in her first meet back.
