Everyone saw the video of the Ohio State fan getting body slammed by the Buckeyes’ strength coach last weekend. While that gentleman, Anthony Wunder, might have been subjected to intense embarrassment from the WWE-style takedown, he is now being subjected to a whole lot more.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that Wunder is a 21-year-old Ohio State student who lost his full ride scholarship as a result of his antics. The Cincinnati native and mechanical engineering student is being charged with criminal trespassing and while he does remained enrolled at the university, all scholarship privileges have been yanked.

His attorney, Mark Collins discussed the predicament that his client finds himself in:

Collins said that Wunder was told yesterday by the Evans Scholars program that Wunder has lost his scholarship with the program. Collins also said that Wunder is no longer living in the Evans Scholars house.

The lawyer said that he will be looking into all options to resolve the case “in the near future” and try to find a way for Wunder to keep his scholarship.

It remains unclear what options the lawyer is referring to and how the impending charges of the 4th degree misdemeanor of criminal trespassing can impact any decision. Wunder has entered into a not guilty plea.

Many field-runners typically pay a minimal bond of $75-150 the night in which they are released from jail followed by a host of legal fees, with some forking over thousands of dollars for their idiocy. If the scholarship ruling holds up, this rabid fan will lose a whole lot more.
