Ohio State has dismissed running back Carlos Hyde from the university after claims he assaulted a female surfaced on Monday. Hyde, OSU’s first string tailback, was named as a person of interest in a weekend assault against a female in a Downtown bar.
Hyde, who finished just short of 1,000 yards rushing last season, was expected to have a great senior season and play a huge role in the Buckeyes’ offense, but Urban Meyer wasted no time in cutting the halfback after allegations arose.
