It appears as though Mississippi State’s baseball program, athletic department and adidas will be answering a few questions in the coming days. The team wore university-approved batting practice shirts this week, ones that featured a Las Vegas theme by referring to their town of Starkville as Starkvegas. The background simply appears to be some Vegas-inspire lighting and makes for a cool design.
Harmless enough, right?
Apparently not, as the shirts actually contain a NSFW dig at their in-state rival Ole Miss with a hidden message that says “F–K THE TEAM UP NORTH”. You can see the words when the shirt is flipped upside down:
