Mississippi State was up big on Auburn in the first half when Bulldogs head coach Dan Mullen tried to show his cojones with a very questionable fake punt. In his defense, if they convert we are all calling him a genius. However, his decision completely backfired and instead of shoving the Tigers deep into their own territory in a double-digit ballgame, the fake failed and Auburn took over with phenomenal field position.
Not only did Mississippi State fail in converting the 4th down, their punter got knocked to a different planet:
