The always publicity-seeking Westboro Baptist Church attempted to protest Michael Sam who was with the rest of the Missouri football team to receive their Cotton Bowl trophy at the Tigers’ home basketball game against Tennessee. The WBC’s sinister attempts were thwarted when the Missouri student body blocked them with a human wall. Meanwhile inside Mizzou Arena students welcomed Sam back with open arms and an incredible standing ovation. Just another great moment since Sam has come out.
