Not long ago, Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were standout college players at UConn and Kentucky, respectively, so it’s not a surprise that the two Charlotte Bobcats teammates placed a wager on last night’s National Championship game in Dallas.
As we all know by now, the Huskies took down the Wildcats to capture their fourth championship since 1999. That meant MKG had to honor his bet, which apparently meant wearing a Kemba’s shirsey from his UConn days. Donned in a bucket hat and Huskies shirt, Walker looked quite smug about the outcome of their wager.
