East Carolina followed up an impressive win at Virginia Tech two weeks ago with a 70-point offensive performance in destroying North Carolina on Saturday, a victory that plopped them into the AP Rankings. Naturally, Pirates fans were ecstatic about the win, as they’re long ignored by the in-state Tar Heels and appear to be willing to drop some serious cash in reminding everyone about the game.
One fan put up this billboard in Winterville, NC, which is about 10 minutes from the ECU campus in Greenville. The #beneathwho hashtag refers to an anonymous North Carolina player that said the Pirates were beneath them prior to the game.
