The No. 14 Creighton Bluejays had one of the most bizarre basketball “assists” you will ever see in their 84-62 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons in the Big East Tournament on Thursday. It was a completely accidental play, and ended up resulting in three points for the Bluejays.
Creighton guard Devin Brooks tried to throw a pass down low to big man Will Artino, and missed horribly. The pass hit the side of the backboard, and bounced back to wide-open Creighton guard Austin Chatman, who then drained a three-pointer.
