The lovely Samantha Ponder and her husband, Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder, plopped out baby No. 1 recently and have elected for an interesting name: Bowden.
The name is clearly a reference to former Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden, who coached Ponder in college.
Christian Ponder said his little girl’s name is Bowden Sainte-Claire. Yes, she’s named after Bobby.
