Cardale Jones has only started three games for Ohio State, but most thought he would make the jump to the NFL. He just won a National Championship, it’s a weak quarterback class, Ohio State is currently littered with quality quarterbacks, and the dude isn’t known to be the biggest fan of going to school.
And on Twitter, Jones hyped up his decision.
This has been a long two days…

And then:
Life changing decision at 4pm — Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) January 15, 2015
Okay, so it’s a lock. He’s going pro, right? There’s no way Jones would hold a televised press conference to say he’s not doing anything. Well, he did exactly that. Cardale Jones is not going pro. He’s returning to Ohio State.
Then, Jones dropped this on all of us:
Jones says it was “an easy decision.”

Oh, so you knew the entire time? What about the “long two days” Tweet? But wait, there’s more:
Jones: “I don’t know why you guys made such a big deal of this.”
— Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) January 15, 2015
Says the guy who held a press conference. Okay, carry on. I can’t wait for the Ohio State quarterback competition this summer.
