A game featuring Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State Dominguez Hills was played last night and the ending was as good as we have ever seen. The game went into double overtime (that is where the below video kicks in) and Cal Poly’s DeRonn Scott nailed a three with just 8.7 seconds to play which gave them a two point lead. Cal State followed up with a three of their own which went through the net with only .6 seconds left and Cal State up by one. It seemed like everyone had given up at that point except Mitchell Anderson who threw up a desparation half court heave and somehow it went in for the win.
