College kickers have a tough gig. When they miss “easy” field goals (and they often do), they’ll never hear the end of it. When they actually convert on field goal attempts, they’re simply meeting expectations.
And apparently, sometimes they don’t even get congratulated for their efforts. Just ask Boise State’s kicker who was denied about four high-fives after nailing a field goal.
