A few weeks ago we brought you the news of Alabama’s brand new $100 million locker room, which has some pretty incredible features. One of those features is a shiny new weight room that includes an anti-gravity treadmill for players.
The machine is a rehabilitation device for players with lower body injuries; the machine functions by controlling air pressure in a chamber to gently lift the user. Sounds pretty great, right? So why doesn’t every sports team own one of these things?
Well, as you’d probably expect, they’re not exactly cheap. A quick Google search will confirm that these things can be sold for anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 apiece. Considering ‘Bama just dropped nine-figures on a new locker room, I’m assuming they didn’t jump for the cheapest model available.
