Adidas continues to get crushed in the uniform game. The massive German apparel company has been embarrassed in recent years with futile attempts to run with Nike and Under Armour in creating unique, flashy and awe-inspiring uniforms, but instead of taking notice to the overwhelming negative reactions, they continue to release bizarre designs.
Everyone has seen their disgusting annual attempts at college hoops uniforms and repeated fails at unique college football designs. The company and Louisville football officially revealed an “Uncaged Cardinal” uniform for the 2015 season and while we commend them for going outside the box with a curious helmet logo, it’s still terrible.
The cardinal on the helmet and cleats looks like a cheap knockoff graphic from the local bird store:
