Nothing is flashier in the world of basketball than a crazy dunk. Every year, NBA pros and players from other leagues try to one-up another to show off the most. They don’t always succeed, of course, but even a botch is fun for players and fans alike.
Not too long ago, we talked a bit about DeMar DeRozan and the sick dunk he tried to pull off for Team USA. It was a thing of beauty, even if it didn’t go through. Seemingly unimpressed, the Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins tried to pull off one better, going for a 720-dunk and it was pretty spectacular.
Wow. How the hell does someone pull off something like that?
Posted on the always-fascinating House of Highlights Instagram account, the video shows Wiggins full just a bit short of completing the dunk, but still looks damn good going for it. Here’s hoping he can bring more like that to table come All-Star time next year. Also: how does it compare to Demar’s attempt?
