Grizzlies vs. Clippers 7:30pm PST – 86 Thuuz Rating
In game 1 of this series, the Clipper guards simply took over. Chris Paul had 23, Eric Bledsoe had 15; Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups contributed with 14 and the born scorer Jamal Crawford had 13. However, one of the most compelling match-ups of the entire playoffs is inside between Blake Griffin and Zach Randolph. Z-Bo is one of those guys that knows how to disrupt Griffin and he’ll look to frustrate Blake tonight enough to steal one in L.A.
Bulls vs. Nets 5:00pm PST – 82 Thuuz Rating
The Bulls’ game 1 effort was embarrassing. We all know their without D. Rose, but c’mon – it’s the playoffs. The Nets led by 25 at halftime and rewarded their fans with a 106-80 victory. The Nets were high energy throughout, led by Deron Williams who had 22, including a reverse dunk (didn’t know he still had that in him). Brooke Lopez also showed why he’s an NBA-All star and one of the premiere big men in the league. It will be interesting to seek how Chicago comes out tonight. NBA fans already bringing out the brooms on them. Will they respond?
