De’Angelo Russell will likely be a top five pick in June’s NBA Draft and be invited to a load of sponsorship and corporate events over his career, including golf outings. However, if his feeble attempt at hitting a golf ball last weekend is any indication, the former Ohio State guard might want to stick to caddying at those events.
Fellow NBA hopeful and former Maryland guard Dez Wells posted a video to Instagram of Russell flailing at a driving range behind someone’s house. Because he’s about to embark on a multi-million dollar professional basketball career and 99 percent of other non-golfers also would whiff in embarrassing fashion, we cannot imagine that Russell is too worried over his lack of golfing skills:
