Our friends over at the NOC have just released a new video documenting former Kentucky Wildcats and now Washington Wizards point guard John Wall and his rise from a no-name talent to being the No. 1 player in the country.
Wall tell’s his story of his upbringing in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was raised by his mother who worked four jobs to support he and his two sisters after his father passed away when he was just nine years old. John goes on to talk about his experience at the 2007 Reebok Challenge basketball camp, where he came in as just another face in the crowd but left as the No. 1 prospect in the country.
The video also features clips of future college prospects Aquille Carr and Aaron & Andrew Harrison, who discuss what it’s like to be an up-and-coming basketball and how Wall has helped them along their path.
