It’s well-documented that global pop superstar Taylor Swift has a close relationship with the family of the late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. She even shared a special moment with Bianka Bryant, the youngest daughter of Kobe Bryant, during her Los Angeles concert last year, giving Bianka her hat during the performance of her hit song “22.” And she paid homage to Kobe Bryant in another way this week.
This week, Taylor Swift was spotted walking to Electric Lady Studios in New York. And as she headed to the studio, presumably to work on her latest musical project, she was seen wearing a necklace with a pendant featuring an inspirational quote attributed to Kobe Bryant.
The diamond-encircled gold disc pendant was engraved with the quote “Bet on yourself,” which became a famous quote from Kobe Bryant throughout his legendary career in the league.

Before his death, Kobe Bryant was a massive supporter of Swift and her music, and he and his family developed quite a strong relationship with her.
Between the heartfelt interaction with Bianka at her concert earlier this year and now her decision to wear this pendant with his famous quote, it’s clear that Swift still holds Kobe Bryant in a special place in her heart.
