On Wednesday, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry got to meet with President Obama in the Oval Office.
Although the conversation was private, the two reportedly talked about Steve Kerr and Curry’s teammates.
Curry had been invited to the White House to express his support for President Obama’s Malaria Initiative. Curry does have a track record in fighting the disease. For years, Steph has been participating in the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign. For each three that Curry has hit over the past three seasons, he’s donated three insecticide-treated mosquito nets to the organization. As one could imagine, that’s a lot of life-saving nets.
However, the trip wasn’t all business. Curry also got to spend some time with the presidential dogs Bo and Sunny, who wasted no time cuddling up to the Warriors point guard. As one can see, Bo warmed up to Curry rather quickly. Sunny was much more chill.
