In shocking news, it appears that a lot of people still hate Skip Bayless.
The opinionated ESPN personality is among the least liked people in the sports and entertainment industry and, if reactions to his harmless NBA Finals tweets are any indication, that’s not changing anytime soon.
Sunday night’s NBA Finals Game 2 was one of the ugliest and most poorly officiated games you will ever see, with missed calls, turnovers and odd occurrences littering the Cavs’ huge win. We can point to a handful of truly atrocious calls but the most blatant occurred when Andre Iguodala walloped LeBron James across the arm in overtime:
And yes, Warriors fans, LeBron did travel moments before that no-call. Cleveland may have ultimately won the game but the missed Iguodala foul led to a shot clock violation and could have been a game-changing sequence. People immediately took to Twitter in losing their minds over the botched call, including Bayless, who sent out a simple tweet that was met with extreme NSFW backlash, especially from the first two trolls:
