Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is a former Arizona product who is projected to go in the first round of this year’s NBA draft and the young star has already set a lofty goal for himself.
During last week’s draft combine, Hollis-Jefferson was asked to name the one player that he’s dreamed of posterizing once he gets into the league. Rondae was a bit cautious, but straightforward, with his answer:
“I don’t know if I should say this, because he might be, like, looking for me if I come down the paint,” Hollis-Jefferson said. “But I know Serge Ibaka is a big blocked-shot dude. So if I can get him, I’m good.”
Of course, Hollis-Jefferson’s words got back to Serge who responded on Twitter with an amusing reaction to Rondae’s dunking aspirations.
Lol I will be waiting for you young fella! Good luck in the draft! https://t.co/wZehxXL2Ca

Rondae certainly has his work cut out for him once he enters the NBA. After all, dunking on Serge is no easy feat. This past season Serge accumulated 155 blocks in 64 games for an average of 2.42 blocks per game. That average was good enough for third in the NBA, behind Hassan Whiteside (2.56 bpg) and Anthony Davis (2.94 bpg).
