In one of the less traditional three point attempts, Russ Westbrook showed that he will pretty do much whatever he wants on the court, whenever he wants. Check out the below video of Russ launching a shot from just inside of half-court, with 18 seconds left on the shot clock and 2:30 left in the 3rd. We understand what Russ was thinking, draw a quick three free throws, but unless you are sure it will happen it is ridiculous to shoot that. I’m sure Russ saw something on the game tape or first half which he thought he could exploit, but we are fairly sure that Scott Brooks will also have something to exploit when watching this game’s tape.
In the battle for the best record in the west, the San Antonio Spurs trumps the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second time this season. After being down 10 in the first quarter, the Spurs would surge back to outscore the Thunder 83 to 61 in the rest of the game. The final tally had the Spurs winning 105-93.
