Last night, the Portland Trailblazers managed to beat the Memphis Grizzlies to keep elimination from the playoffs at bay. Damian Lillard led the way with 32 points while he wore a sick pair of custom shoes that Robin Lopez designed for him before the game.
Lopez took Lillard’s signature shoe, the adidas D Lillard 1, and drew an impressive Blazers-colored design all over both shoes.
The intricate design work is nice but it’s the personal touches that really make Lopez’s custom stand out – from the bold “Lillard Time!” and “Dame Face!” to the Oakland A’s cap on the back heel that pays homage to Lillard’s hometown.
Of course, these are not the first sneakers that Robin has ever customized. The man is well-known for decking out his own kicks fairly often.
