The best thing about Rick Carlisle’s amazing “Jim Carrey Dressed As Rick Carlisle” costume within a costume within a costume is that he can wear it every year for the rest of his life and not waste tens of tens of dollars on yearly outfits that he’ll wear once and then toss aside like a bag of stale candy corn.
The “Rick Carlisle looks like Jim Carrey” bit is a thing that has apparently existed for quite a while on the internet (even though they don’t look THAT much alike aside from the fact that they are both older, thinner, taller white dudes with big, round eyes). Jim Carrey was even asked about his “doppelganger” when he was a guest on The Late Show with David Letterman years ago.
I’ll hand this to Carlisle though. He does do one hell of a Jim Carrey smile.
