It is hard to imagine that someone can go nine years without shaving their beard, and it is even harder to imagine how weird it must feel now that it is gone. Pau Gasol of the Lakers can explain both feelings as he shaved his beard on Thursday for the first time in nine years after losing a bet to his brother Mark.
